A programmer, not a trainer. Yet.

I'm Damian. I'm trying to build muscle and documenting the whole process. I show what works for me and what doesn't.

[TODO: Damian — 1–2 sentences in your own words: what kind of programmer you are (what you do day to day) and how long you've been training.]

Why document it

In a year or two I want to coach other people. Before anyone trusts me with that, I want proof that I know what I'm doing, at least with myself: a long, dated record. Including the weeks that didn't work.

[TODO: Damian — your own reason for documenting this online. Keep, edit or replace the paragraph above.]

Why numbers

‘I feel stronger’ isn't data. The number on the scale and the weight I lifted are. So I measure, write it down and show the raw results next to the average. If the average is hiding something, the raw points will give it away.

Not a trainer. Yet.

I'm not qualified as a personal trainer or a dietitian. I show what I do, not what you should do. The plan:

  • Now: 100 push-ups on New Year's Eve, Lean Bulk 2026/27 and prep for my next Runmageddon (April 2027).
  • Winter 2026/27: a personal trainer course. [TODO: Damian — course or organisation name, if you want to give it.]
  • In a year or two: first clients. Until then I'm not coaching anyone and I'm not selling anything.

Plans can slip. If they do, I'll say so here.

Not a big fan of running

I run Runmageddon anyway, a Polish obstacle race. My first one is behind me: Runmageddon Wrocław, September 2026, Rekrut category, 1:49 h, every obstacle cleared. Next race: April 2027, Wrocław Partynice. How much I run and how it's going is in the numbers.

[TODO: Damian — why you're not a fan of running and why Runmageddon anyway. 1–2 sentences.]

Disclaimer

I'm not a certified personal trainer, dietitian or medical professional. Everything on this site is my own training, my own eating and my own numbers: what I do and what I'm learning as I go. It isn't training, nutrition or medical advice. If you want to try any of it yourself and you have health concerns, ask a doctor or someone qualified.
